2027: APC finalises upload of guber, state assembly candidates on INEC portal
The All Progressives Congress (APC) says it has successfully uploaded all its governorship and State House of Assembly candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party’s National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, made the announcement in a statement released on Friday.
According to Yilwatda, the APC has achieved a 100 percent upload of its candidates for the governorship and State Assembly elections, describing the development as a major step in the party’s preparations for the 2027 polls.
“I am pleased to announce that the All Progressives Congress, APC, has successfully achieved a 100% upload of all our 56 Governorship and Deputy Governorship, and 1,015 State House of Assembly candidates on the INEC Candidate Nomination Portal,” he said.
According to him, the successful completion of the exercise underscored the party’s readiness for the next phase of the electoral process.
“This milestone reflects the organizational strength of our great party,” Nentawe added.
The APC National Chairman further said that the ruling party would now shift its attention to engaging Nigerians ahead of the 2027 polls while promoting the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
