APC releases list of senatorial aspirants disqualified from primaries across states (FULL LIST)
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the list of senatorial aspirants barred from participating in the party’s senatorial primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The list was attached to a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to the statement, the affected aspirants failed to secure clearance after the party’s screening exercise conducted by designated committees.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) hereby releases the list of senatorial aspirants not cleared to participate in the Party’s Senate Primary Elections,” the statement read.
“The screening exercise was conducted by the Party’s Screening Committees in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.”
The party, however, did not immediately provide detailed reasons for the disqualification of the affected aspirants.
The development comes amid heightened political tension and complaints of irregularities surrounding the APC primaries across several states, with some aspirants already threatening legal action over the outcome of the screening process and conduct of the exercises.
