Enugu North Senator Okey Ezea passes away

Senator Okey Ezea, who represented the Enugu North Senatorial District in Enugu State, has passed away.
Ezea, elected on the platform of the Labour Party, was the sole remaining National Assembly member from Enugu State under the party.
Very Nigerian reports that the lawmaker died on Tuesday in the United Kingdom, where he had been receiving medical treatment.
A popular on-air media personality, ‘Senator’ Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, broke the news on his Facebook page.
He wrote: “Sad News. Senator Okey Ezea, representing Enugu North, is dead… Rest in Peace.”
It was also reported that Ezea was earlier treated in Germany.
Although details of his demise are still unclear, reactions are already trailing the news on various social media platforms.
