BREAKING: Labour Party zones 2027 Presidential ticket to South
Nenadi Usman, the National Chairperson of the Labour Party (LP), has revealed that the party has decided to zone its 2027 presidential ticket to the southern part of the country.
She made this known on Tuesday in Abuja, stating that the decision has already been finalised within the party’s leadership.
“We have one certain decision that we have taken and that is that we will certainly not field any aspirant from northern Nigeria. We have zoned the position to southern Nigeria,” she said.
Usman added that the party would not consider any aspirant from the North for the presidential race.
“So if any northerner comes now to want to contest elections, we certainly will not accept that.”
