The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) for its ongoing recruitment exercise will commence on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

In a statement released by the Office of the Secretary, the Board stated that only officially scheduled candidates will be allowed to log in for the test.

It warned that any form of malpractice, third-party interference, or device manipulation will be detected, as the entire examination will be AI-proctored.

Candidates are urged to strictly adhere to the examination rules to avoid disqualification.

The CDCFIB advised applicants to ensure a stable internet connection, steady power supply, and use of an appropriate device, preferably a laptop, for the exam.

While mobile phones and tablets may be used, interruptions such as phone calls or switching applications will trigger violation alerts that could lead to automatic failure.

It also clarified that candidates who experience disconnection during the test can rejoin within the allotted time and continue from where they stopped.

The statement concluded by wishing all participating applicants good luck in the recruitment exercise.
