The closed-door meeting is jointly chaired by the Chairman of the Northern Governors’ Forum and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, alongside the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III. Their talks are focused mainly on finding solutions to the rising insecurity affecting communities across Northern Nigeria.
