Tell Nigerians name of the Primary, Secondary Schools you attended – ADC chieftain Kalu Kalu challenges Tinubu

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kalu Kalu, has challenged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to publicly disclose the primary and secondary schools he attended, following the release of the President’s nomination documents for the 2027 general election.

Kalu made the call on Monday while speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today.

His remarks followed the publication of the personal particulars and academic credentials of presidential candidates by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of the 2027 elections.

The publication showed that President Tinubu listed only his university qualification in the educational section of his nomination form, while the spaces provided for his primary and secondary school qualifications were left blank.

Reacting to the development, the ADC chieftain urged the President to provide details of his earlier education.

«”Come and tell Nigerians which primary and secondary schools you attended,” Kalu said.»

He also revisited issues surrounding documents submitted by the President during the 2023 election cycle, alleging discrepancies in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate contained in Tinubu’s earlier INEC filings.

According to Kalu, the certificate bore the name “Bola Adekunle Tinubu,” raising questions about the inclusion of the middle name.

«”Even in the 2022 INEC document he submitted, he claimed he had a National Youth Service Corps certificate, and the name on that certificate was Bola Adekunle Tinubu. So where did he get ‘Adekunle’ from? He claimed he graduated, but the certificate was forged,” Kalu alleged.»

President Tinubu has consistently denied allegations of certificate forgery and has maintained that his academic credentials are genuine.

The Supreme Court also upheld his election after dismissing petitions challenging his qualifications and victory in the 2023 presidential election.

As of the time of filing this report, the Presidency had not issued a fresh response to Kalu’s latest comments.
