BREAKING: US captures Venezuelan President Maduro after missile strikes

The United States has claimed that Venezuelan President, Nicolás Maduro, has been captured and flown out of the country following a wave of missile strikes on Venezuela.

The claim was made by US President Donald Trump in a post on his Truth Social account on Thursday, where he announced that American forces had carried out what he described as a large-scale military operation targeting Venezuela and its leadership.

According to Trump, the operation resulted in the arrest of President Maduro and his wife, who were allegedly taken out of Venezuela after the strikes.

“The United States of America has successfully carried out a large-scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolás Maduro, who has been, along with his wife, captured and flown out of the country,” Trump wrote.

He said the operation was conducted in collaboration with United States law enforcement agencies and promised to provide further details at a news conference scheduled to hold at his Mar-a-Lago residence.

The announcement followed reports of explosions and missile strikes in parts of Venezuela, including the capital, Caracas, sparking fears of a major escalation in tensions between Washington and the South American nation.

As of the time of filing this report, Venezuelan authorities had not officially confirmed the capture of President Maduro, while government officials said his whereabouts remained unclear.
