CDCFIB publishes results breakdown, announce next phase in recruitment exercise

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released a full breakdown of the results from the 2025 recruitment examination phase, giving applicants and the public a clearer view of overall performance as the process moves to the next stage.

According to the figures shared by the Board, the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted between November 12 and 19 recorded a huge turnout, with candidates spread across different score ranges.

The data shows that 221,996 candidates scored between 0 and 40, while 229,155 applicants scored between 41 and 60. The highest number of candidates, 278,543, fell within the 61 to 80 bracket, while 142,697 secured scores between 81 and 100.

A performance chart included in the update also showed the level of participation in the test, highlighting the number of candidates who sat for the exam, those who violated exam rules, and those who were absent.

The CDCFIB said the recruitment exercise is moving forward as planned, adding that Stage 4, physical screening and document verification, will be announced soon.

The Board advised applicants to rely only on its official communication channels and avoid falling for fake recruitment updates circulating on social media.
