David Mark, Aregbesola lead ADC mega rally in Ekiti, say APC must go
The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), David Mark, and the party’s National Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola, have criticised the APC-led administration in Ekiti State, accusing it of failing to meet the expectations of the people ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
Speaking at the ADC mega rally in Ado-Ekiti, both leaders urged residents to vote for the party’s governorship candidate, Ambassador Dare Bejide, describing the ADC as the credible alternative capable of delivering development and good governance.
David Mark called on voters to support the ADC and help build “the Ekiti of their dreams,” while Aregbesola argued that the ruling APC had failed at various levels of government and no longer deserved the people’s mandate.
Aregbesola expressed confidence that the ADC would emerge victorious if the election is conducted in a free and fair manner, urging supporters, especially women, to come out en masse and ensure that their votes count.
With the governorship election just days away, political activities have intensified across the state as parties make their final push for votes.Alternative Headline:
