NACCIMA opens applications for $150 Million business expansion financing facility (How to apply)

The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has opened applications for a $150 million offshore financing facility designed to support the expansion of Nigerian businesses across strategic sectors of the economy.

The facility, developed in partnership with ODDO BHF SE, a German banking group, provides eligible businesses with access to long-term financing at single-digit interest rates to fund business growth, industrial expansion and technology acquisition.

Applications are now being accepted through the dedicated online portal unveiled during the Infrastructure Conference (INFRACON) 2026 in Abuja.

About the Financing Facility

The initiative aims to improve access to international capital for Nigerian businesses by providing long-term funding for expansion projects.

According to NACCIMA, the financing package offers:

  • A minimum funding amount of $10 million.
  • Single-digit interest rates.
  • A minimum repayment tenor of 7.5 years.
  • Access to long-term international financing for business expansion.

Eligible Sectors

The facility is open to businesses operating in the following sectors:

  • Manufacturing.
  • Agro-allied processing.
  • Energy.
  • Logistics.
  • Mineral beneficiation.
  • Transportation.
  • Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

NACCIMA stated that 20 percent of the total fund has been reserved specifically for projects within Nigeria’s digital economy.

Funding Conditions

Beneficiaries will be required to:

  • Commit between 35 percent and 50 percent of the financing to the purchase of eligible machinery, equipment, technology and related services from Europe.
  • Invest the remaining balance in Nigeria or other approved markets in line with the financing agreement.

The programme is designed to support the acquisition of modern industrial equipment and technology that can improve productivity and competitiveness.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the financing facility, applicants must:

  • Demonstrate financial viability.
  • Provide at least three years of audited financial statements.
  • Show compliance with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards.
  • Be verified financial members of a recognised organised private sector association.

Eligible associations include:

  • Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA).
  • Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN).
  • Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME).
  • Nigerian Association of Small Scale Industrialists (NASSI).

How to Apply

Interested and eligible businesses should:

  1. Visit the official NACCIMA financing application portal.
  2. Complete the online application form.
  3. Submit all required financial and supporting documents.
  4. Provide evidence of membership in an eligible organised private sector association.
  5. Upload audited financial statements and ESG compliance documentation for assessment.

Applications will undergo a review process to determine eligibility before financing approval.
