Enugu air gets Green Light to launch Lagos–London flights
Enugu State-owned airline, Enugu Air, has secured approval to operate flights between Lagos and London Gatwick Airport in the United Kingdom as part of its plans to expand into international operations.
Under the arrangement, Omni-Blu Aviation has been appointed as the designated operator for the route through a strategic partnership with the airline.
Enugu Air described the approval as a major milestone in its expansion drive, noting that the proposed international route would improve air connectivity between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
The airline also said the development was expected to create new opportunities for passenger travel and trade between both countries.
It added that the development aligned with the aviation vision of Enugu State Governor, Dr Peter Mbah, to position the state as an emerging hub for international connectivity, investment, tourism and economic growth.
