President Bola Tinubu has departed Saudi Arabia after performing Umrah, also known as the lesser Hajj, during his visit to the Islamic holy city of Makkah.
A video shared on Wednesday by Olusegun Dada, the President’s media aide, showed Tinubu waving goodbye to Nigerian and Saudi Arabian officials before boarding an aircraft for his departure.
Dada also disclosed that the President was granted the rare privilege of accessing the inner chambers of the Holy Kaaba in Makkah during his visit.
The visit allowed Tinubu to perform the Islamic pilgrimage and access one of the most sacred sites in Islam.
