The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has reopened applications for its Conditional Grant Scheme (CGS), giving eligible nano and micro businesses across the country another opportunity to access a one-off ₦50,000 grant to support business growth.

The grant is designed to help small business owners strengthen their operations, purchase essential business supplies, expand production and create employment opportunities.

Unlike conventional business loans, the grant is non-repayable, provided beneficiaries comply with the programme’s conditions.

Why SMEDAN Is Offering the Grant

According to SMEDAN, the Conditional Grant Scheme was introduced to improve access to finance for nano and micro enterprises that often struggle to secure loans from commercial banks and other financial institutions.
