Many feared killed as suspected herdsmen launch attack on Benue community

Several people have been killed and many others are missing after suspected herdsmen attacked Ojantele, a community along the Abuja-Otukpo road.
Very Nigerian reports that the gunmen stormed the area on Friday, opening fire on residents. The attack reportedly left more than 20 people dead, while several others are still unaccounted for.
Authorities have yet to release an official statement, and efforts to locate the missing residents are ongoing.
Chairman of Apa LGA, Adams Ogwola, who confirmed the attack on Friday afternoon, said they could not ascertain the number of casualties at the moment.
