Rivers Assembly aspirant Ekwutoziam visits Kwankwaso, seeks support ahead of election
Dr. Ekwutoziam Ashiedu Ogwus Chinedu, a frontline aspirant for Ahoada East Constituency 2 in Rivers State under the Nigeria Democratic Congress, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to former Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, at his residence in Maitama, Abuja.
During the meeting, Dr. Ekwutoziam formally presented her Expression of Interest form and sought the support, guidance, and fatherly blessings of Kwankwaso as preparations for the forthcoming elections intensify.
The visit also created an avenue for discussions on party matters, grassroots mobilization, and strategies aimed at strengthening the Nigeria Democratic Congress in Ahoada East, Rivers State, and across the country.
According to sources present at the meeting, both leaders discussed the importance of unity, grassroots participation, and sustained engagement with party members ahead of the electoral process.
Sen. Kwankwaso also called on other Nigerians of goodwill to continue to support the party.
“The growing support the NDC continues to receive from different states across the federation is a strong indication that Nigerians are ready for purposeful leadership and genuine democratic change. Together, with unity, courage, and determination, we will continue to strengthen this movement and work towards building a nation that works for all.”
